The Atlas IIAS series is one of the most successful launch vehicles in the world today. With a Centaur upper stage the Atlas II and four solid boosters it is capable of lifting payloads up to 8,200 lb into geosynchronous transfer orbit. The Atlas IIAS has a 100% success rate lifting 17 satellites. Model stands approx. 15 inches tall. This kit was designed by Julius De Roo of Rho models and is now being released for the first time through RealSpace Models |
